The ASTRONET Board is very pleased to announce that the new Science Vision and Infrastructure Roadmap for European Astronomy is now published and can be viewed of downloaded from this site.
This represents the completion of several year’s work by a large number of scientists from a wide range of European Astronomy communities. The report includes a separate Executive Summary also available to view of download.
Over the coming months the Report will be featured in many press and media announcements to ensure that it has a wide reception and this will include a feature at the European Astronomical Society’s meeting in Krakow in July 2023. The Board will be working on plans to implement its recommendations with funding agencies, the European Commission, national governments and major research infrastructures. The Board hopes this independant and comprehensive report will help inform both national and international decisions affecting Astronomy for the next 10-20 years.
